Finding a skilled prosthodontist to place your dental implant is perhaps the most important aspect of getting quality care. Dr. Bentz is a skilled, board-certified prosthodontist, which means that he has passed the American Board of Prosthodontics’ four-part exam. Before a prosthodontist can take this test for the first time, they must complete college, dental school, and three years of residency training and additional classes. The exam process is rigorous and often requires prosthodontists to take classes or study independently to prepare. To maintain his board certification, Dr. Bentz needs to recertify every eight years as a way to show that he is up-to-date on the latest developments in prosthodontics. Just like other medical fields, the technology and procedures used in prosthodontics are constantly improving, so Dr. Bentz is always learning as well.

One of the machines we use during the dental implant process is i-CAT imaging. This machine produces a high-quality 3D CT scan of your teeth, jaws, and the rest of your face in just 20 seconds. Dr. Bentz uses i-CAT imaging to plan the exact placement of your dental implants, ensuring that they’re placed in the best possible location and angle. He also places your implants with computer-guided surgery through Nobel Biocare’s™ Noble Guide because it increases the precision for better results while shortening the overall implant placement process.
We have an onsite dental lab.
Our onsite dental lab houses much of this cutting-edge dental technology, allowing us to plan and carry out your dental procedures with increased accuracy right in our office. This increased accuracy means the procedure will be more predictable and will yield better results. Plus, you’ll be able to undergo even complex treatments with a staff you already know and trust, which will also help you feel more comfortable before and during your procedure!
